Background

As founder and CEO of the Kinterra Group, Craig Miller has a special affinity for Kinterra Strategies. This partner of Kinterra Group is dedicated to relieving poverty through empowering people to develop their own businesses, both locally and around the world.

As Craig examined his plans to expand his already successful homebuilding business, he realized he had the opportunity to more closely align his work life with his mission vision. The idea for Kinterra Strategies was born after reading the book Halftime: Changing Your Game Plan from Success to Significance, by Bob Buford. The book talks about not abandoning a God-given skill set, but instead finding ways to leverage it into Kingdom work, using what God has built in our life over the past 20 or 30 years.  “It catapulted me into thinking outside my comfort zone,” says Craig.  Out of this realization and commitment, he found other like-minded people to come together to form Kinterra Strategies.

Kinterra Strategies develops business training, coaching, business planning, and other support small businesses need in order to begin and thrive. “The whole idea of helping to relieve poverty in a sustainable way is very invigorating to me personally,” says Craig.  “The best way to do that is through solid business development.”   In this way, Craig and others who join him are able to use their business skills for a greater purpose than just being focused on expanding their business and increasing profits.
